Appalachia Recovery Coalition is a volunteer driven initiative to support victims of Hurricane Helene and the February 2025 floods in recovery and redevelopment, including supporting the network of independent nonprofits, churches, volunteers and donors in reaching those individuals, families and communities in need; advancing community and public-private partnerships; and facilitating advocacy support for individuals, families, local small businesses and agribusiness across Western North Carolina, Eastern Tennessee, Southwest Virginia, and extended states.
Appalachia Recovery Coalition is backed by Rule of Law Committee (a Virginia nonprofit 501c4 organization), a special initiative of The Quantico Group - Flood Control Caucus.
Appalachia Recovery Coalition, provides direct support to community members impacted by Helene and February 2025 flood related devastation. As we advocate for seniors, disabled, families, veterans, first responders, family owned farms, and small business, we are backed by nonprofit 501c4 Rule of Law Committee, with advisory support from The Quantico Group. Donations are not tax deductible, in-kind gifts and volunteerism are welcome.
Our sister partner organization is Appalachian Reclamation Koalition (ARK), founded by Tami Krell, Executive Director and host of Cotton Patch volunteer and aid distribution camp in Western North Carolina. ARK's proactive partnership network reaches throughout Appalachia and across the midwest. ARK is a DBA of Civil Rights Institute (501c3), empowering local community members, independent aid hubs, and unincorporated communities to rebuild their homes and neighborhoods, one town at a time.
